Teak extending dining table by Sorø furniture
Model 15, 1950
This teak circular dining table has no less than 4 extending
leaves which extend this table
from a modest 4 seat to a whopping 12 seater dining table.
Once the table is fully extended it has a purpose built center support leg which folds down and supports the span.
1 of the 4 leaves has been fitted with the matching plinth in
oak so you can have that in all the time
and it will look like the table was made oval.
The table is in superb condition with unique age related
patina and oiled finish.
The rich patina in the wood and soft feel makes this table stand out from the
rest.
Measures:
49 inch Diameter x 29 inch H
Fully extends to 128½ inch L / 327cm

Arne Vodder designed chairs produced by Sibast, Model 404, 1960
A rare opportunity to acquire this complete dining set comprising 2 carver chairs and 6 dining chairs all bought originally in 1962 by the previous owner.
The set came to me with the Pirelli webbing worn out totally
so I have restored the chair seats replacing the webbing
completely, re-foaming and upholstering all the seats with a high quality
black leather.
The leather has a special feature in that it warms to the touch quicker than
standard leather.
The leather is a matt finish which contrast well to the rich patina of the rosewood.
The chair represent a solid investment in Danish classics and will make a style statement in any home.
Only sold as set of 8 (6+2)

Stunning teak dining table produced entirely in solid teak
timber!
The table is extremely rare to find so it is my pleasure to be able to.
The table stands on splayed legs which are fitted directly
under the top.
the legs are connected together in pairs by a delicate brass hinge that allow
them to fold flat once they have been removed from the table.
The table comes with 2 extending leaves, also in solid teak
timber, that extend the table to
an over all length of 79 inch L / 200cm
The table has a unique age related patina and I have oiled it
repeatedly in keeping with the original finish.
The table is branded with France & Daverkosen disk and
gold embossed.
the company let on in the 1960s became France & son by which it is mostly
known.
